The Nest... Part 2

A strange thing has been happening with the Robin's nest out on our privacy fence. The momma bird started laying eggs... one... two... three and then the strange thing happened... one of the eggs were gone... we looked all over the place and could not see where it went. I don't know if she broke one and took it somewhere.... don't know if she knew it was bad and got rid of it... its a mystery... but two days later a new third egg arrived and then a fourth!
It reminds me of our Lord and Savior... when we are faithful with what he has given us to do or take care of he blesses us. Even know that something may happen that is not good (the loss of the third egg) if we continue to persevere, hold on, keep doing what we need to do for him and his glory... he will blesses us double, triple (a new third egg and a fourth) !!!!! That momma bird has been working hard at doing what God has created her to do. No matter what happened to that original third egg... she was back up on that nest doing what God needs her to do.... and he has blesses her with a new third egg and a fourth!
I have been learning that no matter what is going on in your life good or bad... keep following the Savior, keep listening to the Savior, keep learning about the Savior, stay close to the Savior, and before long you will be with the Savior!
